1st INTERNATIONAL CAPOEIRA ANGOLA ENCOUNTER 

in Manila, the Philippines.

April 18th to the 22nd, 2012

SPECIAL GUESTS: Mestre Virgilio da Fazenda Grande (Grupo de Capoeira Angola 1º de Maio) 

& Mestre Roxinho (ECAMAR – Sydney)

This Encounter will serve as the first seed of that will affirm the roots of Capoeira Angola in this country

allowing for the preservation and healthy proliferation of the practice outside of Brazil, particularly

in Southeast Asia. To formally bless the beginning of our work, we are bringing an Elder of our grand

tradition: Mestre Virgilio da Fazenda Grande who carries with him almost 6 decades of experience and

information.

We hope you will support our work by joining in the Encounter and helping us preserve this rich and

beautiful art that is Capoeira Angola.
